I converted My H to the Nippon Denso alternator, It works great. I got my alternator from a local alternator shop. It was given to me so I don't know what they cost. I had them put on the smallest alternator pully they could get so the alternator charges at the tractors operating RPM. I also got a "pigtail" with the plug that plugs into the alternator. This set up works great it's been on the tractor for about a year and a half, no problems. I'm sending a link to the archives discribing how I did the conversion. With the hood on the tractor you'd never know it was converted. Email me if you need more info. John
