Since you brought up the topic of cleaning gas tanks, I would like to ask a follow-on question. The 350U that I bought, sat in a yard for 2 years with no gas cap. That has now been rectified but the tank is full of rust which keeps plugging up my fuel system. Luckily I am geting really good at getting that filter out of the carb and cleaning it. Is there anything I can use to a)clean out the crap in my tank and b)treat the inside of my tank with to stop the rusting? I am thinking there must be some kind of epoxy or something that would be gas proof.
