David, 50 Series Sentry troubleshooting can get interesting sometimes, but will try to get you on the right track. When you say you have replaced the sensor on top of the trans. I presume you are talking about the pressure switches that gave so much trouble on the Sentry system. Just a question, which switch did you replace? The front one is high, so the one you should have replaced is the rear one. Did you try switching the pressure switches around? See if the problem goes to the other side(remember when switching the switches around to hook up the harness correctly, front harness to front switc, rear to rear or else it won't work!). 9 times out of 10 a Sentry that doesn't work on 1 side is related to the pressure switches, but the other 1 out of 10 can be trying & here's where it can get hairy. After the switches, you could have a problem with the low range solenoid, the shift switch(this is located on the handle under the console, it is a wand switch that moves when you move the shifter sideways & there is a ball-detent setup that gives the shifter that "snap" feeling when you switch gears), the relays which are located on both sides of the Sentry box between the clutch & brake pedals(you can test them like the pressure switches by swapping them side for side), the harness & connections or perhaps a hydraulic problem that the Sentry system is actually working properly & is doing its job by not letting the tractor move. Usually, a hydraulic problem or a Sentry module problem will show up on both sides of the Sentry. The best way is go to your Case-IH dealer & ask to get a copy of the 50 Series Sentry Troubleshooting chart. It is a flow chart that goes through step-by-step process of elimination of trouble spots in the Sentry system without a bow-and-arrow approach to finding the problem.
