I also have a 460D that I restored. I think you will be ok to install the pump with the dots lined up but after you get it installed you will have to static time it. To do that get # 1 to come up on comp. and stop at 3 BTC. Now take off little timing window on the side of the pump and you should see 2 marks. Turn the pump until the marks line up with each other and tighten down pump. If you only see one mark you maybe 180 out. Also the back mark is stamped in and the forward one is usually a scribe mark. Someone correct me if this isn't right.
