Jeff, the parts are manageable for weight IF you drop the bull gears first, then the finals. On the left side, you'd have to take the lock ring off the shaft so the final will come off leaving the shaft. Dropping the pans and bull gears may not make a lot of sense if you're only doing the seals at the top and not doing the bearings or gaskets on the bottom of the finals. I'm on a reply page so I can't see the name of the other fellow who's replied, but he's on the right track suggesting it might be worth renting a hoist.
