Thanks Scott and Red Dave. Scott, I looked at your website, and I'll check it out regularly. You're farther ahead than I am, so it will be nice to watch and learn from you. I removed the bull gear before I removed the housing and diff. axle housing (which had a mouse nest in it). I did pick it up and move it without hurting my back, but I'm glad my brother is a chiropractor. I'm taking pictures of my restoration, and if you're interested I'll send you updates. My email is jjw@traverse.net. My first restoration was a 1940 H two years ago, a SMTA last year (needs a paint job), and this year is the BN. I'm also working on a 1930 Regular over the next couple of years. Thanks again to both of you.
