No problem making an H pull. Bore the engine out to accept the sleeves from a 350, this will give more cubic inches and power. Find a 350 LP intake/exhaust manifold and carburetor. Put on a 350 LP head for more compression. Increase the timing and run premium fuel. If you have traction and are running out of power in 1st gear, get the low-low gearset and put it in. If possible speed the engine up, it will handle 2000 RPMs easy if it is tight. I'm sure there are more ways to make power but these are the easiest and most cost effective to start with.
