H steering rebuild.

I am going to now reseal the steering in my H, I have some questions. Should I put some RTV on the outside of the seal or just press them in? There is a ball bearing that goes on the upper bolster pivot shaft, do you some how pack it or just smear grease on it? Do you put grease in between the washers there? I noticed that the worm gear on the stearing shaft has a few nicks, should I replace that shaft/worm gear? Thanks.
