Alot of people have been rebuilding their bolster assymblys lately, myself included. I believe the bearing you are talking about it the worm shaft bearing. I would pack it like any other. As for the seals you should just be able to put a little grease on the outside and tap them in, they are a tight fit. I was told to put grease in the sector/worm housing instead of oil to prevent an oily mess in the future. As for the worm having nicks, mine did too, but my sector was also badly worn so I found and good used set and replaced them.
