Most hyd systems I've seen are open center. Why would you want a closed center system in a tractor? The pump will always be requiring HP from the tractor to constantly produce working pressure (500-3000 psi) with the undesirable side effects like heat, additional wear and higher fuel consumption. I realize in small tractors their always open center system because the lower HP engins are more productive producing drawbar hp. Unless you have a really big accumulator and even then a lot of the hyd hp turns out to be waisted hp through the pressure relief valve. Just a dumb question
