I bought a ‘45 H a couple months ago and would like to put the engine to work. Probably hasn’t worked for many years. We have tuned it up and it does run better but I really think it needs to be put to work! Plan to dump the gas that’s in the tank and put in new. Would it hurt the engine to put one of the higher-octane fuels in it with the intent of helping to clean it out? Since I do not have any ground (I’m not on a farm) or equipment that I could run with the PTO or pulley, it’s really hard to make the engine work. Do any of you folks have some suggestions on how I could rig up something to put this engine to work? Kind of like having an old car and needing to blow the cobs out of it! :-) Thanks, Dave Olson, Catlin, Illinois
