Go for it, its not a big deal. On my SC I had to buy a new throw out bearning and holder--the original on mine was some kind of composite material and it was nearly shot. I'd suggest putting in the rear main seal--I can't remember exactly how its done...if my memory serves me correctly....it bolts on and can be done without removing the oil pan, its a felt type....not a big job as I recall. I would also suggest a close examination of the clutch plate and the surface of the flywheel--if I had it to do over, I'd have taken the flywheel to town and had it resurfaced (probably cost 25-30 bucks) I believe it would have made the operation of the clutch much smoother, although it works ok now. Be sure and look closely at the amount of wear on the "fingers" of the pressure plate--mine had hardly any wear at all, and I eneded up using the same clutch disc and pressure plate. The installation of the ring gear itself it no big deal...as I recall one side is beveled...not sure exactly...just watch how the old one comes off....warm the new one with your torch or an oven and put it on, might have to use some force, just keep it even and don't try and do it all at once....Good Luck.
