Good explaination George! The example I used was from fork lift training. A fork lift has a straight rear steering axle with a center pivot. The pivot is on the same plane as the center of the rear wheels. On a WFE tractor, the pivot is substantially higher. The CG of the tractor is probably just forward of the rear wheels and probably right down the center of the driveline. That would make the angle that the CG shifts due to tractor incline angle or weight transfer in cornering fairly steep. Loader operation will change the CG therefore the lower operating speed especially during cornering. I wish I could calculate all the angles and CG's just to find out exactly how much effect there is. Thanks for sharing the info.
