I have a 1943 farmall H that over the spring and early summer was useing. one day i hauled a load of big square bales over to the hoarse farmer down the road, the load was so heavy that it took ever thing it had to get moveing in 5th, big mistake i was in a huury never a good thing there but i had to drop it off before the sun fell from the sky. any way the motor was not happy with me we had to pull this load up a steep hill i had to go to 1st in 1st the motor wasnt runing at full rpm an the wheels spun all the way up the hill we had the dodge behide us pushing to. at the time i didnt know that. but anywho about a month later a was rakeing with it and the motor gave out and was spiting at me. at first i thought that i had blowen out the head gasket but now that i have it stiped down to just the block cam and crack i see that #3 piston blew the skirt off and that sleeve worn to a paper thin thickness. the sleeve has a set of cracks from were the piston tried to excape so it also damaged the cast around that sleeve and i was hopeing to fix it with that chem. welding stuff. not hveing pulled the sleeves out yet i dont know if it just cracked the casting or blew a hole in her. any input will help. thanks in advance.
