I have a reprint of the shop service manual and I remember distinctly what it says for the cylender head torque, and I quote "tight". In fact a couple of those bolts can only be tightened with an open end wrench. Similar info is given for other engine parts. It also says to "remove shims in the connecting rods untill they are not too tight".
