Sickle bar mower questions

We have a sickle bar mower that was originally mounted on a Farmall A. Dad thinks that the mower is an IH. It bolts to the drawbar and has a tailwheel like a brush hog; also a spring-loaded slip clutch and a break-away bar. Can anybody give me information such as model number about this mower? Or, where can I find info about it?
