GAS START INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER 6 CYL DIESEL

I Have a WWII tug that has been repowered to a I/H Gas start diesel. It is around 200 horse, large long stroke engine. It is old but I have no idea how old. The numbers on the engine are:
253 702 r92
serial # 19652
A friend told me he heard they were put in thousands of international d8 tractors the military bought. Please any information on parts, manuals, anything would help.
