Glad to hear ya got it running. I wonder if all the rust in block & rad are indication of the "good" water quality in your part of the world. When we took the head of #1 Son's F-12, you could still see the casting sand indentations in the block-no rust at all, but then it came from the Sand Hills of Nebraska, and the ground water out there is like rain water. BTW, got the hole in the float found w/aid of magnifing glass, drilled out with 1/16" drill bit, shook about a tablespoon full of gas out of it, dried it w/wife's hair dryer (good thing she wasn't home-it worked good) & soldered hole. Submerged it in a can of H2O over night-no more liquid inside. Put it in carb, but it still won't run. It must have crap in the jets. We gotta take the carb off & soak it, I guess. Just too cold & damp to do it Saturday & had other things to do yesterday, so didn't get at it. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
