Lee, sorry to hear of your trouble with the M. I'd take a second look at the gasket. If that's not it I'm not as far north as you but I ended up with a parts M that the block is in good shape even the head as been checked by the mach. shop and has no cracks (head only no valves). Has the crank and cam all there but not the sleaves or rods. I'm in Kansas but I'd make you a heck of a deal. It's in the middle of the shop with the trans, rear end, front end and needs to find a new spot to collect dust. Even has fresh red paint.
