Don't want to put calcium in my tires, but need more weight. This is the first chance I've had to move snow with my 240U and this 18" snow in Kansas is as wet as I've ever seen. I have a long circle drive and have most of one side cleared, but county has not graded yet. No sense getting that last few feet until they have gone by.
Anyways, does anyone have an idea where I can get weights for a 240U? I'd drive a few hundred miles to pick them up... of course the farther it is the better deal I'd need :) . I think the weights are two piece and 75# ea. for 300# total.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
