BTDT last August. It was a big pain to line up and get back in. Remove the entire housing assembly and reassemble. I used the 3/8" rods to help guide the unit in. The flared out portion of the end of the shifting tube will have to slide under the differntial gearing and then be raised to hit the splined hole in the back. You will not beable to see what you are doing. Look at pictures 24, 25 and 26.
