You do not have to remove crankshaft for sleeve removal. Just rotate crank off to the side to allow access to the bottom of sleeve. Then you should be able to use wooden blocks as Tom was saying. F-20's have wet walled sleeves so it shouldn't be to hard to get out. It must come up out of the block and not down. I wouldn't use the torch or welder unless I absolutely had to. When useing wood, the wood itself protects the engine parts (such as crank) from getting scratched or dinged up. Metal to metal contact is what you want to avoid completely when dealing with internal engine parts.
