My money is on that sediment bowl shut off valve not closing tightly enough and the gas is leaking out the bottom of the carb while sitting. Either this or you have some midnite marauders who get a thrill from rubber hosing a gas tank. Maybe they just like the taste and wouldn't bother the cans sitting full next to the tractor.//FB
