Buying my first Red 'A' What to look for?

Looking at a Farmall A, no experience with tractors except that I've loved them forever since I was a kid. This one is refurbished with new paint,seat, and decals. Needs some minor carb work. Comes with underbelly cultivator/disc attachment, rubber good in back , fair in front. Electric start with new wires, new rubber hoses on radiator, new exhaust, etc. Guy wants $1800. Seems high, but I dont know what an 'A' goes for. What should I look for??? Location: Western PA, (Volant)
