Kind of on a similar subject, is the dim position on the light switch supposed to dim the headlights or the rear light? I had to build a harness from scratch for my Father's "A", with no diagram. He bought some replacement headlight assemblies. When I wired the switch to dim the headlights, the resistor got red hot (I replied to a post, mentioning this a couple of days ago). I am pretty confident of the my schematic. I just figured that the new sealed beam headlights drew more current than the originals did. So I wired the lights with no dim setting. Help, anyone?
