Mine did the same thing. I looked and looked and scratched my head and finally got it to fit better. Your tractor should have a support thats kind of U or V shaped that bolts to your thermostat housing then bolts to both sides of your radiator. If this is not bent or warped then that should align the top of the radiator. Then unless your metal is bent up it should get you pretty darn close to where it should be. Hope this helps and makes alittle since. Richard C
