First off, excellent comments!! And I have to agree with you. The main point is, a distillate engine does not have enough compression to use the full potential of gasoline, therefore it should produce more power using distillate or kerosene. However, the same engine designed for gasoline will make more power with gasoline than the distillate engine. It all has to do with using the full potential of the fuel being used.
