You hit the nail on the head here, Steve. Take diesel fuel for example. You should get more horsepower (or mileage) from it. It has about 13 or 14 percent more energy per gallon, compared to gasoline. Will you get more output from a gasoline engine if you burn diesel in it? You already know the answer.

Now, burn this in a Diesel engine. Quite a different story.
