When reassembling a motor, I know you are suppose to use a oil to lube all moving parts. My part supply guy gave me a bottle of the stuff he uses, it's a real thick lube. My question is, should I be putting large amounts on all the bearing surfaces such as: Crank Connecting rods Piston pin bushing Inside Cylinders ? Tappets Cam bearing surfaces, lobes timing gears ? I figured more is better, but on the other hand, this is thick stuff, and don't want this stuff to keep the regular oil from getting to the bearings. Thanks all ! Brian
