Okay, I was able to remove the plow from the hitch using a chain and the loader from another tractor. The cylinder looks as though it has traveled past its normal operation point (i.e. both are fully extended). I found this in the manua: "The retarder valve is to be set to the restricted flow position “R” when the depth adjusting cylinder is used on the fast hitch. This is necessary because the weight of an implement in transport or certain implements in operation would exert leverage against the depth adjusting linkage and tend to extend the cylinder. If the Hydra-Touch control lever is mover to raise the hitch point, the hydraulic fluid would escape from the piston rod side of the cylinder faster than the pump can supply fluid to the opposite side. This creates springy cylinder action or allows pistons to float." Does it seem right that I should bleed the system which would allow the cylinders to return to normal position? How would you recommend doing it now that the dangerous weight has been removed?
