John, I am not sure what methodology the manufacturer uses in determining the new part numbers only I think the original seals are very unique with the use of leather. You should have two seals with different numbers for either end of the hydralic unit countershaft. The seal you listed (43509D) is for the lift-all side of the shaft. The seal for the transmission side is (#43308D). Both these part numbers are listed in the original H parts catelog and have not changed today. I got both from my CASE/IH dealer. If you have trouble freeing up the countershaft nut I found a good size pipe wrench turns it right off. By the way I heard that if the lift-all unit has a yellow paint strip on side it is a higher pressure unit.
