The Electrall baler has to be rarer than the Electrall because many Electralls were sold as standby generators. I am surprised that IH seemed to offer at least three balers in 1955. Those being the 45,46, and 55. It may be that electric motor conversions were available for all three. It seems likely that those parts should be in the baler's operators manual. The only pictures that I have seen of the 400/Electrall/baler combo have been taken from the front. The hay pick-up and motor are the only things that are clear. Can't see what type of belt was used because it is shielded by a guard. The motor mount is clear but don't know if it was shared with the gas motor. Are the pick-up and auger the same on all the balers manufactured in '55? Correction: Ken Updike does have a picture in his book "IH Tractors 1955-85". It is similar to the IH archives shot that Guy Fay uses but is larger.
