I had a similiar problem with mine , and found it was a bypass problem. Right on the righ side , bottom of the touch control head (remove battery box) you will find a 5/16 th's allen head . take this out and put in a flat blade screwdriver and back out a retainer . behind this you will find a small falt washer like thing with a real small hole in it with a screen ( some have a screen and some dont) you will need a self holding screwdriver or a real small magnet to get this piece out. Clean this and see if it makes a difference. You will need a straight pin to check the hole to make sure it's not plugged . I hope this helps D webber
