The picker head is ofset to the side. The single wheel runs in the middle. The main drive wheels are also shielded and run in the middles. The cotton was often picked twice so you didn't want to damage the plants when you picked first time. On the two row one head picked left row and one head picked right row (related to center of machine) whereas the one row picked left row (related to center of machine. Harold H
