I am confused. On the one hand you want a virginal tractor without any aftermarket improvements and on the other hand you are excited about purchasing an air pre-cleaner that does not show up in any IH published material. My personal feeling is a collector tractor should use as many contemporary IH and vendor accessories as possible. Don't you get a little bored seeing 100 H's at a RPRU that are all the same? Adding the power steering will improve its value as a work tractor and its value at resale. It is not a big deal to restore the armstrong steering later if you so wish. Moreover, the power steering will always retain its value unless you destroy it with dirty oil.
