This is how I look at it...International Harvestor designed the tractor for 6 volts, DON"T RE-INVENT THE WHEEL here! The 6 volts and 6volt coil and old fashioned points have worked for years. I know that it is fun to argue and I have fun trying to understand what you are all talking about(I'm failing with that), but "if it ain't broke-Don't fix it." Just my opinion. OKAY! go ahead rip me apart!.............
