Gene is right that tranny has water in it and it is frozen up..don't try to use the PTO or move the tractor for that matter until you heat the rear end up and melt and drain the fluid. Walmart has 80/90 gear oil for about $29 a pail..a lot cheaper than snapping a shaft or stripping a gear. Mike in Exter Ontario where it is -20 Celcius tonight
