I recently bought a Super H and I must admit, I don't know much about it. It was delivered and I hooked it to a bushhog and did a little work around the house. Upon bring it back to the barn, I noticed that the front hydraulic pump had a couple of loose bolts, and the front of it was sagging. "The pump is not used and is capped off". I tightened the bolts up and cranked the tractor, It ran for about 30 seconds and died. It was locked up."Just my Luck". I thought the engine had locked up, because it couldn't be pulled off, It will roll if the clutch is mashed, but when you let off the clutch. It will slide the tires. I removed the dust cover on the bottom and rolled it with the clutch mashed, and can see a shaft on top turning, but when you let off the clutch it lockes tight. I can turn the engine with a screwdriver, But not with the starter?? Could the front pump be locking it up, and can I unhook it"I am not using it anyway" and continue with grass control??
