I shift into 4th gear, get the tractor and load moving, probably with the throttle 3/4 open, clutch, shift into 5th (high gear) on the fly and ease the clutch out. This will be alot easier on the clutch than starting out in road gear. It is called "road gear" for a good reason, do not be in a hurry until you get some experience with it on the road with no load behind it. You can not be to careful.
