I recently bought a farmall M. When I changed the oil it was thick and black and lumpy so i figured it had been there a long time. When i bought the tractor he told me that he had checked the antifreeze in the fall and added some so that it wouldn't freeze. I didn't check it but when i looked in it looked very green. The tractor has been sitting outside for about 2 months now. Last week was cold but never below 10. I checked the oil the other day and it has a little gray color to it. I didn't think to take the plug out and see if water came out and now i can't becuase i will be away from the tractor for a few weeks. Do you think that something is wrong (cracked head, block, head gasket?) or it is condensation from sitting outside? Thanks.
