Hey all. I was looking at a couple of both of these models, and began to ponder. I have two 856's i have grown up with (still growing), so i know the tractor rather well. However, is one more fuel effiecient than the other? I know the 56 has 100 more CI's but they both have relatively close horsepower (+/- 5). Most 856's have the DT engine, while the 806 has the plain D. Also: on either tractor, how low could I tune it DOWN. What would be the lowest economical horsepower of these tractors? I also considered: If you tune the tractor way down and put a turbo on it so it returns to the starting horsepower, could you save fuel? I have heard that on a 766 it is around 75% of the fuel is burned while naturally aspirated, and about 98% with a turbo, increasing horsepower without doing anything else. Any other large factoring pros or cons? Thanks guys (or any gals!!!)
