806 has 361 cu in and 856 has 407 cu in.Thats only 46 cu in difference.Also the 856 engine is a D407 the 1256 had the DT 407.The T in DT stands for turbocharged.You don't have to tune a diesel down the fuel injection pump automaticlly does that for you.Diesel engines only use as much fuel as is needed to do the work that is required.
