Granted you can put a lot into one, but we are talking what it will bring on the open market. I have a lot of experience with restored cars, its always cheaper to buy one then to restore it yourself, unless you can do most of the labor yourself. You talk about people slapping a coat of paint on and calling it restored, that is why the truly restored (overhauled) tractors (and cars) won't bring the money spent on them.
