is how in the heck can they jump so derned high? My sister has done hunter/jumper horses for 30 years, and she'd be tickled to death with a two year old thoroughbred that could jump 4 foot fences! My catch/loading/doctoring pen was on the place when we bought it, it's made of 5' hog panels. The posts are 6' tall so I've put 4'x6' (1.22m x 1.83m fer you northern types) plywood sheets my windows were shipped in along one side, and nailed a top rail on the other sides. I won't know if that's tall enough until she decides to come in for water. Since she's about 3/4 longhorn that could be a while. Right now she's out there in the pasture dining on soapweed (yucca), which my cattle see as a delicacy. We gave up on positive reinforcement training. Seems that the caows know their ultimate fate and just don't give s hoot.
