Once again, I'm not sure the German Diesel uses the same injection pump as I have on my 560D w/282 engine. However, your symptoms are so similar to what I had. On my injection pump, just above the cylindrical block where the injector lines are fitted with the banjo-type fittings, there is an adjustment screw with a jam-lock nut around it. Once you have the engine started and warmed up, put the throttle to the position where it begins to bog down. Then loosen the jamb nut and adjust the center screw in or out and see if it changes your engine performance. Premark the setting in case it doesn't impact the performance.
