The tractor is now red, but I do have a picture before it was repainted...its olive drab and bright yellow. Its in northeast alabama. The only military post close was a airport used by USAF for touch and go's. Don't know if any USMC personell were stationed there. I will be painting it back to the Olive drab and yellow colors. There is no suffix on the manufacture tag. The USMC tag is on the right upper side of the hood...about midway from the gas tank to the front of the tractor. Was this tractor a "hand crank" start? It runs>>>very rough! Any thing to help find special info on this tractor would help. I was wondering also abouty putting a wider front end on this...any kits avaiable? There is a pto on the right side near gas tank..is this normal, sorry...but i know ford 8n like a book..and this will be the first IH I have restored.. Thanks for the replys...they really help! John
