Several years ago I helped an elderly neighbor of my parents do some mechanicing on an F-12. He used the tractor to keep the weeds down on a lot of about 2-3 acres right in town. He had two other tractors sitting there, one of them without wheels. I looked at that tractor and found that it was an F-14. I tried my best to contain my enthusiasm and asked the gentleman if it was for sale. The answer was "NO" I am going to keep it for a parts tractor. End of discussion. Well, as these things happen, he passed on about 4 years ago. Just a few months ago, his wife passed on also. I gave it a little time and went to talk to the daughter. She said that she would discuss it with the family, but she thought her son that lives about 300 miles away may want the tractors. I got a call from the son yesterday and he said that they would entertain the idea of me getting the tractors, so I am going to get over there in the next week or so and look things over. The son told me that the third tractor has F-20 on the gas tank. It is partially obscured, but I always thought it was another F-12. I have known about these tractors for some time and didn't tell any club members about them, because I didn't want someone jumping in ahead of me. DOES THIS MAKE ME A BAD PERSON? I feel real bad about keeping this a secret for so long (NOT). I won't say anything until the deal is actually made and I have them home. Secretive Dan

Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
