I temporarly removed my metal fuel line so I can put an in line filter. I want to do so as a temporary added measure to keep my carb clean. I had my tank off and flushed it very good, my sediment bowl is new. I just want the extra protection until I am 100% sure there is no sediment still in the gas tank. My question, what in line fuel filter will work on an H? I tried a fram (I think the number is 3606). That filter works great on my GMC pick up and 154 Cub-loboy but can't get any fuel out of it on my H. I am pretty sure that it didn't plug up as soon as I turned the gas on. My pickup has a fuel pump and on my 154 the line has a good drop and the filter is verticle, on my H it is horizontal.
