Farmall H knockin part 2

Well after pokin around tonight it seems that it
might be in the motor and it might be a rod.
Using the 'plastic tube to the ear trick' didn't
reveal anything, a 3 foot piece of copper pipe
worked well though. I now suspect the second
cylinder from the front. I will try the spark
plug removal trick next. Working from the assumption that it is a rod
bearing what are my options and steps ? I do want
to do a full rebuild in the future say, next
winter but not yet. I'd like to be able to use
him the remainder of the fall and next year before
