If you are installing, a rebuilt unit, the fingers should be already adjusted. Before you remove your old unit, make a cursory examination to see if all of the fingers are at or about at the same height. If they aren't, and your clutch disc still has all of its facing, the pressure plate unit probably needs to be canned anyway.
